The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is responsible for achieving recruiting objectives by proactively sourcing, recruiting and evaluating job candidates for plant hourly and salaried level positions across the business. The TABP will focus on developing solid relationships with hiring managers across the organization, understanding their short and long-term talent acquisition requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing hiring manager and candidate expectations, creating offer letters through to onboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understanding staffing needs based on hiring and turnover trends.
  • Coach hiring managers on talent acquisition processes.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Support hiring managers to create or update job descriptions.
  • Train hiring managers on company-standard and legally compliant approach to interviewing.
  • Create and post recruitment advertisements with online mediums and cultivate future candidate pipelines.
  • Partner with plant HR management and Senior Manager, L&OD to ensure recruiting strategies are aligned with succession plans.
  • Fully leverage technology for optimal candidate relationship management utilizing talent networks, the ATS database and job boards to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate and manage interview itineraries for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure company-wide applicant and interview data is maintained in the ATS.
  • Perform pre-employment screenings for potential employees.
  • Prepare and deliver offer packages to potential employees.
  • Maintain staffing reports, ensuring senior management is kept abreast of the company-wide exempt staffing condition, weekly.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a talent acquisition capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is desirable. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be computer literate with experience with ATS and HRIS programs, preferably Workday.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a self-starter with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Light physical effort required such as standing, sitting, and walking in and around the office; reaching, climbing, and kneeling as needed; utilizing fine dexterity, the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professionally etiquette.
