Overview

The Total Rewards Associate Manager supports the PepsiCo Beverages Canada organization.  This role is responsible for partnering with business leaders and Human Resources to identify Total Rewards opportunities, diagnose issues, build long-term strategies, recommendations and solutions that meet local business needs. 

 

This role will have coverage for 5,000 PBC salaried, commissioned and frontline employees and 50 union contracts. This role will be on the PBNA’s Total Rewards team reporting directly to the Total Rewards Director for Canada.


Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational insight for the development and implementation of new rewards programs, technology and processes
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide insight and guidance on professional compensation strategies and programs to achieve overall talent, retention, pay equity and performance management objectives
  • Develop and execute Total Rewards resources and training for HR and our business partners to build capability, disperse information and influence culture and change management
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects on Total Rewards such as pay analysis, compensation program review, wellness, healthcare and retirement education campaigns and productivity initiatives to support the strategic long-term business agenda
  • Build the compensation strategy for the hourly population based on market benchmarking and business demands for multi-incumbent/critical skilled hourly roles and actively participate in the Labor Authority Request process, support union negotiations, and lead the Compensation and Benefits review for the non-union frontline population
  • Support the union avoidance strategy with the goal of appropriate differentiation between union and non-union Total Rewards programs to avoid business disruptions

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of advancing experience in total rewards, with a focus on compensation proficiency and the design of comprehensive total rewards programs is required.
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Human Resources is a prerequisite.
  • Ability to manage projects and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence decision-making with business partners both verbally and in writing, including solid presentation skills.
  • Consultative style with ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
  • Understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
