Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Strategist to join our Sips & Bites strategy team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the creative excellence agenda and contributing to the success of some of the world's leading brands. This pan-European role, with a primary focus on the UK market, involves working with iconic brands such as Walkers, Doritos, Pepsi UK & CEGB, Pipers, and engaging in various ad-hoc projects.


Responsibilities

  1. Craft Inspiring and Insightful Creative Briefs:

    • Create compelling and insightful creative briefs that are designed to deliver on the business objective.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to guide the creative process, ensuring the development of stronger and more impactful work, encompassing core ideas, campaign assets, and campaign journeys.
  2. Collaborate on Agency Brief Development:

    • Establish direct working relationships with brand teams, contributing to the development of comms briefs to the agency.
  3. Brand Knowledge Ownership:

    • Hold a deep understanding of the brands you work on, including positioning, challenges, brand platforms, tone of voice, and assets.
    • Build a wider understanding of the wider forces impacting the brand & business
  4. Internal Testing Expertise:

    • Possess knowledge of internal testing methodologies and actively contribute to achieving robust results across all campaigns.
  5. Consumer Insight Collaboration:

    • Work closely with insights teams to gain a profound understanding of consumers, identifying tension points and exploring the role our brands could play in their lives.
  6. Inspiration and Thought Leadership:

    • Inspire agency and brand teams with best-in-class external work and thought leadership.
  7. Project Leadership:

    • Lead some projects independently, while also contributing to others as directed by the Strategy lead

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in brand and creative strategy, preferably with a background in advertising agencies.
  • FMCG experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding and opinion on brand-building, particularly in commodity categories.
  • Curious mindset capable of identifying clear problems and exploring diverse solutions.
  • High creative ambition, able to push thinking and creativity while respecting the brand foundations.
  • Versatile creative thinking across all channels, from traditional TVC to innovative TikTok activations.
  • Proficient knowledge of research methodologies, establishing a collaborative partnership with the Insights department.


Where will I be working?
