Deputy Director - Sustain/SAFe Release Train Engineer - Gandipet Mandal / Hyderabad, India

As the Program Manager (Release Train Engineer) for our AI and Machine Learning products, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of product releases, managing the coordination and alignment of cross-functional teams, and effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders. This role requires exceptional program management skills, a strong product owner mind-set, and deep knowledge of AI and Machine Learning technologies. You will play a critical role in driving successful product releases, ensuring quality deliverables, and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving setting.

• Act as the Release Train Engineer, responsible for managing and coordinating large-scale product releases across multiple customers.
• Work closely with the product management team to understand the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and translate them into actionable release plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and quality assurance, to define release requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Conduct release planning sessions, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders, and capturing and prioritizing release features and user stories.
• Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to drive the execution of release plans.

Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

• Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning technologies, mobile technologies, and software engineering practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe, and familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent program management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects or product releases involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong product owner mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs, prioritize features, and drive product success.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
• Experience in the AI and Machine Learning domain is highly desirable.

Mandatory Non Technical Skills :

• Manage and resolve dependencies, risks, and issues related to product releases, proactively identifying bottlenecks and finding solutions to keep releases on track.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between development teams, customer-facing teams, and external customers to align expectations and provide regular release updates.
• Monitor and report on key release metrics, including release progress, quality, and customer satisfaction, and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the release management process, incorporating industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and Machine Learning technologies, mobile technologies, and engineering practices, and evaluate their potential impact on product releases.
