Responsibilities

This position is a key member of the Financial Reporting team for Frito-Lay North America. This role will be responsible for banking/cash management for all of Frito-Lay, including preparation of bank account reconciliations and management of all banking tractions (including posting journal entries, analytical procedures, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues). This position will also be responsible for account management for several highly subjective balance sheet accounts, including accounting for intangible assets, accounts receivable, joint venture relationships, employee bonuses, severance, long-term debt, and equity. This individual will have the opportunity to become familiar with multiple different segments of Frito-Lay’s business and will participate in several ad-hoc financial reporting projects that will provide a high level of visibility to executive leadership. This position provides the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with numerous career growth opportunities at Frito-Lay and other divisions of PepsiCo. 

  • Prepare bank account reconciliations
  • Manage bank account transactions including analysis of transactions and journal entry processing
  • Manage multiple different balance sheet accounts including transaction analysis, journal entry posting, and account reconciliations
  • Manage joint venture related accounting and receivables
  • Assist with period-end close procedures
  • Maintain internal controls and support external audit requests
  • Complete ad hoc projects as requested such as government reporting

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $61,700 - $103,250 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • CPA or CPA candidate (must have passed at least 2 sections of the exam)
  • 1.5 +  years of relevant experience in financial audit.
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and collaborative
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
