Indirects Senior Buyer - Warszawa, Poland

Our global procurement department has undergone a transformation which resulted in the opening of this, exciting position responsible for IT & Professional Services. Your manager is Dorota Kalicka, Indirects Senior Manager for Central Europe. One person is reporting directly to you, but you will influence and lead colleagues in our shared services in Hyderabad and Cairo.

What are your daily tasks?

1. You’re developing, aligning them with local Stakeholders, and implementing a procurement strategy for Poland in categories under management
2. You’re identifying key productivity initiatives and implementing them to capture savings
3. You’re building strong relationships with local stakeholders, understanding business needs, and ensurin
4. You’re building strong strategic relationships with suppliers
5. You’re managing and coaching one direct report
6. You’re cooperating with and influencing global procurement teams in our shared services in Cairo and Hyderabad, as well as local tactical buyers
7. You’re building personal procurement expertise and market intelligence in IT & Professional Services categories

What will you bring to the team?

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing in Indirects categories in an FMCG environment
• Excellent buyer capabilities (from strategic sourcing, Total Cost of Ownership, cost analysis, negotiating to supplier relationship management)
• Sound knowledge of Indirects categories (preferably IT & Professional Services categories), financial fundamentals, and analytical skills
• Project management skills with minimal direct supervision
• Leadership and communication skills
• Results orientated & high performing mindset
• Fluent in Polish & English
