Who you will work with

You’ll work in Gurgaon/Chennai, India. You’ll be part of our Finance Technology (Fin-Tech) group, part of Finance function. You will work with this group to do finance business process transformation, tech enablement of the process and own the finance product from ‘cradle-to-grave’ (operation, support, enhancement) in collaboration with client finance business user groups (groups that support client facing partners).

What you will do

As the Product Manager (PM) you will lead the triad, develop and drive the product vision and strategy. You will provide constant feedback to the team and help them follow this vision, ensuring that the team knows what they are expected to build. As the PM you must develop a deep understanding of the products/journeys in a business domain, build relationships with the business and other key stakeholders, and own the product cradle to grave. You will be empowered and capable of managing the product budget and making trade-offs between value, feasibility, and usability.
A seasoned global Engagement life cycle management (ELM) mid-senior level Product Manager/Solution Architect in Project System domain of SAP products driving tech-enabled transformations globally and responsible for the Design, Development, Implementation, and Adaption of products to drive scalability, effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree; master's or industry certifications
  • 7+ years of industry experience, ideally in a business domain and product development background
  • Deep product expertise in engagement life cycle management (CRM, Client/Project foundation, Costing/Pricing, revenue recognition models, Billing) and cross-function integrations such as general accounting, Tax, People, staffing, purchasing
  • Digital transformation experience in a professional services sector using ERPs and homegrown products with spike in Projects(PS) and Commercial Project management (CPM)
  • Solid knowledge of trends (Industry, tech) user demands, and pain points
  • Sufficient tech depth to engage in problem-solving with the delivery team 
  • Strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
  • Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications  
  • Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas – loves and embraces change
  • Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust 
  • Not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn – pushes teams to do the same 
  • Experimental mindset to drive innovation
