WSPP has been providing a challenging, growth-filled learning experience for students like you for over 30 years. In our training philosophy scholarship, ethics and compassion share common ground. WSPP is a place where practicing clinical psychologists provide mentorship and instruction focused on developing you both professionally as a psychologist, and individually as a person. The Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology (WSPP) strives to provide excellence in graduate psychological scholarship, clinical training, and community service. Our individualized mentoring relationships encourage students' personal and professional growth, preparing future practitioners for an increasingly diverse and complex society.

The doctoral program in clinical psychology at WSPP is organized around principles inspired by the Vail Conference, but also reflects some values (e.g., personalized mentorship relationships) unique to our identity as a small, independent, non-profit graduate program. The application of these principles to a diverse clinical population through the integration of didactic, practicum, and service experiences in the context of personalized mentorship relationships characterizes the essence of our approach to graduate training.
