Welcome to The Art Institute of Dallas, a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design. Our faculty, staff, and students are a community devoted to two common goals: a career-focused education in the creative arts and excellence. If you’re imaginative and creative, and you want a career that will utilize your skills to build a real future, this is where you can learn with like-minded creative individuals to hone your talents.

Our faculty includes both educators and working professionals who share their expertise and experience, which helps students become knowledgeable, capable graduates who are prepared for the rigors of the workplace. Ours is a collaborative, hands-on environment that offers an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Our students benefit from relationships we’ve built with creative industries that provide insights into the latest trends. Those insights can support them on their education paths.

There’s nothing easy about a creative education at The Art Institutes system of schools. But we'll do everything we can to help you bring out your best and help you develop the skills to turn your passion into your career. No two students come at the same creative challenge the same way. Nor do they come to The Art Institutes with the same career goals and lifestyles. Whether you’re going straight from high school and planning to study full-time, or looking to change careers or grow in the one you have, you want a degree option that works for you. So we have a range of degree and non-degree programs designed to help you do anything from becoming more proficient in your job to taking your professional skills to a higher level.

Some students transfer to The Art Institute of Dallas, a campus of South University because of our convenient class schedules that include an online option, or our scholarship and grant opportunities. But many are looking for something else—a more creative, hands-on, and collaborative experience. Whatever your reason, if you’re a high school graduate or you’ve earned your high school equivalency certification (such as the GED®), and you’ve completed at least one semester at an institution of higher learning like ITT Tech, you may be eligible.

The Art Institute of Dallas's Department of Student Services is committed to providing comprehensive student services that promotes student engagement, growth, and development for all students. Student Services does this by providing coordinated, intentional services that supports all of our students' individual academic and personal development.

The Art Institutes provide accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. The Office of Disability Support Services assists all qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and in supporting equal access to services, programs and activities at The Art Institutes.

The College provides Student Financial Services to help students and their families develop a financial plan to enable program completion. Specialists from this department are available to help each student complete applications for grants and loans applicable to that student’s circumstances.

The Student Life office compiles a Student Resource Guide detailing various resources available within the community, including medical and dental care, psychological services, child and elder care options, resources for pets, emergency response and community care agencies. Students can stop by the Student Life or Academic Affairs Offices for assistance with locating campus and local community resources.

You’ll work hard to earn your degree. We’ll work just as hard to help you launch your career. At The Art Institutes, your instructors will do everything they can to help you build the marketable skills and mental toughness to compete in the real world. But the support doesn’t end there. Our Career Services team offers a bundle of valuable resources to help you plan and launch your professional future.
