Abberley Hall is a happy and vibrant co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 2-13 years. We prepare pupils for all major public schools, providing the academic, sporting, and social grounding which is the foundation for sustained success. There is a 100% success rate at Common Entrance, and the pupils have an excellent scholarship record.

High-class academic education is delivered by dedicated, supportive staff. A wealth of opportunities allows pupils to explore the full range of their talents, however, the most important thing that we give the children at Abberley in their childhood.

Small class sizes, high-quality classroom teaching, and committed pastoral care ensure that at Abberley the teachers know and understand the children as individuals. There is a strong culture of performance and participation encouraged right from the beginning. All our children get regular opportunities to perform in the sporting, theatrical, musical, and public speaking arenas. Abberley enables children to build life-long friendships and prepares them for success in a global and changing world.

Aims: To provide a broad all-around education in the academic sphere in a range of sports, in the creative arts, and with a firm social grounding. We aim for the pupils to leave our school with a sense of independence, self-belief, and initiative. We believe that learning should be an exciting experience and we strive to be truly innovative whilst maintaining a strong academic ethos and offering support for those who need it.

Ethos: We believe that every child should be treated as an individual, and we encourage pupils to develop an understanding of their particular strengths while enjoying their childhood and developing firm friendships. We aim to teach pupils the benefits and pleasures derived from being part of a strong community with a shared set of values namely – honesty, endeavoring to try one’s hardest, mutual respect and support, and a commitment to the school community.
