Teikyo Heisei University is a comprehensive institution of higher learning that offers a practical education that nurtures individuals with the applicable skills they need to contribute to society. The university's four campuses in the Tokyo metropolitan area serve approximately 10,000 students and offer nineteen departments across five faculties covering everything from medicine to global communication. Each campus provides both facilities and an environment designed to support local medical and living needs, and students are provided a practical education tailored to their field of study. Students build upon their learning through practical study, thereby gaining the skills they need for the real world.
