Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit institution established in 2009. We offer a range of diverse, rigorous academic programs to enable students to grow into well-rounded leaders. Our programs include undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in engineering, life sciences, management, arts, and computer science.

Campus Information

The Ahmedabad University campus is located in the heart of Ahmedabad city, one of India’s most historical sites and a commercial hub of western India. The campus is at the center of the city’s knowledge precinct. This area is home to some of the finest educational institutions in the country, such as the Indian Institute of Management, CEPT University, Ahmedabad Textile Industry Research Association, and more.

To this lively, student-friendly intellectual atmosphere, the university brings the physical vibrancy of its mix of heritage buildings and modern architecture, bringing together the modernist aesthetic of its past with the optimistic new modernism of the future.

Ahmedabad University is developing this campus over 250 acres. In Phase, I of this development, about 70 acres have been earmarked for academic buildings and student amenities. This Phase will house ten schools and centers over the next decade.
