Necmetin Erbakan University, though a newly established state university in 2010, with 15 Faculties, 4 Colleges, 4 Institutes, 13 Research Centers and a State Musical Conservatory, is privileged of housing three oldest higher educational institutions in Konya Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education (since 1962), the Faculty of Theology (since 1962), and Meram Faculty of Medicine (since 1982).
The mission of our university is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest international levels of excellence, producing knowledge within universal values and scientific ethics, bringing up productive, innovative, participatory, and self-confident individuals who can uphold our values and respect toward peers, community and nature.
Our university's vision is to become an international reference point in bringing out and spreading original and sound knowledge, embracing innovative, pioneering, and trendsetting style in the field of research and education, based on the principle of being sensitive to the needs of its stakeholders.
Over 30.000 students (more than 6.000 postgraduate and one thousand international students) with over 3.000 academic and administrative staff contribute to our university's academic activities, making it one of the most important institutes of higher education in Turkey.
Necmettin Erbakan University is a state university founded in 2010. The university consists of 15 faculties, 5 Vocational Schools, 4 Institutes, 6 Coordination Offices, and 13 Research Centers. With its deep-rooted faculties that were formerly established and incorporated into our university, we continue our activities to become a university, "Looking to the Future with Confidence."
Computer laboratories, foreign language laboratories, cafeterias, sports facilities, student clubs, and canteen services enable our students' social activities. Our library, which has gone to an open shelf system, allows our students to research and development. Also, we provide our students with the Internet privilege they need in terms of registration and grading, thanks to an established computing environment.
Our graduates can work as teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics and Imam Hatip Liseleri vocational courses within the Ministry of National Education. They can also work in various units related to the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Graduates of Divinity Bachelor's Degree will be teachers of Imam Hatip Liseler trained as more qualified and qualified teachers with their pedagogical formation and professional supplementary education.
