We have approximately 27,000 students (HESA 2014 / 15) and have invested £350 million since 2003 across our three Campuses to create an inspiring learning environment.

Our ambition as an internationally focused university is to nurture global citizenship, engage with the international research community, and attract talented students and staff from around the world.
The approaches we take to connecting globally are supported by a strategic network of international partners and are articulated around three pillars. We will grow our international students' numbers to stimulate a vibrant multinational learning community and diversify our income streams. We will further promote internationalization in the curriculum and enhance our students' opportunities to acquire the international perspective needed to succeed in the global community. We will build a strategic network of international partnerships with peer universities, businesses, and civic authorities in selected territories.
